Membership at MRA
Act now while new members to MRA pay a one-time membership initiation fee of $99. In addition to the one-time membership initiation fee the annual dues for a family are $405 and for an individual are $235. New members will be charged the initiation fee plus annual dues. Returning individuals or families will only pay the annual dues. These rates are subject to change at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
A family membership includes those family members who are currently living in one home.
In addition to our large pool, we also have a fenced kiddie pool/play area for children 6 and under, concession stand, sand volleyball pit, and swimming lessons. Baseball fields are available for rent.
We also have a swim team, known as the Marlins, which is open to members ages 5 to 18 years of age. Practices take place Monday-Thursday, 6:00 pm-9:00 pm while school is in session. During the summer, the practice schedule is: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8:00-10:00 am also Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00-9:00 pm to accommodate all of our swimmers. Practices may change due to weather. The 2ft. and 10ft. areas remain open for other pool members to enjoy. You must be a member of MRA to be on the swim team.
Additional Information
Guest fees are $5 per person per day Monday through Friday and $7 per person per day on weekends or holidays. Members must accompany their guests at all times. The same guest may not enter the pool more than two times per week as a guest. After 6:00 pm, guest fees are $2.50 per person during the week and $3.50 per person on the weekend or holidays. The reduced fee for guest passes does not include evening events hosted by MRA or parties that are booked by patrons. Booklets of 5 guest passes are available for $25. Passes can be use any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. The guest must be accompanied by a member and must have the pass with them or they will be charged the regular gate fee for that day. Guest passes are non-transferable and non-refundable and expire on September 5, 2016. You can purchase guest passes from the front gate.
Children under 13 years old must be accompanied into the pool area by an adult (16 and over) and must remain under the supervision of that adult while at the pool. Children 13 and over will need to pass a swim test in order be at the pool unaccompanied by an adult.
Ending Your Membership
To end a membership with the MRA, a written request must be made to the Association stating your intention to return your membership. When the letter is received, you will be placed on a list of members wishing to no longer participate in the Association.
